Karl dbunk

Karl Folse

Founder, CEO

Born in New Orleans and very proud of his Cajun heritage, Karl was raised there and in Mobile, Alabama, where he honed his skills at shrimping in the Gulf of Mexico and worked for an electronics company installing commercial fire and burglar alarm systems. Karl moved to Atlanta to pursue a degree in electrical engineering technology, where he simultaneously became a professional skateboarder. In part due to his love of surfing, Karl then moved to Ventura County where he began a 23-year stint with Schlumberger, serving as an engineering technician and a technical support engineer, during which time he traveled to 35 countries supporting customers and the field engineering teams. After the company was acquired, he moved on to Zebra Technologies as a Quality Manager in manufacturing, where he was selected to relocate the company’s manufacturing operations to China, dividing his time between China and the U.S. for 21⁄2 years. Upon completion, Karl was promoted to Global Problem Manager, and in this role he has supported the company’s customers and partners worldwide for 15 years. Karl settled in South Texas near his two grown children, and is the proud pawpaw to four grandkids. In his down time, Karl enjoys surfing, golfing, boating, and fishing.

Born in Halifax, Nova Scotia, Lisa relished the music-based community and east coast lifestyle that she describes as one of kind, generous, and hospitable. She remained in Halifax for college, graduating with a degree in Business and Administration College in 1995 and then working for the audit company The Profit Recovery Group. Jumping Provinces, in 1996 she left for Ontario, where she started her business career as the owner and operator of a Restaurant Brands International franchise. Lisa built its success over the span of many years, receiving multiple operational and sales awards from the company. She has since sold that location and in 2017 acquired two other Restaurant Brands International franchises, where her success has followed her, building them into top 10% franchises in the province of almost 2,000 restaurants. Lisa has received Double, Triple, and Quadruple Milestone Sales Awards and Operational Excellence Awards with the help of over 100 hard working, dedicated, and highly valued employees. Lisa is the proud mother of two beautiful daughters and has a passion for wellness and life balance, which led her to create, develop, and now own a wellness application called Triangle Connect, Body, Mind, Spirit. In her free time, Lisa is an avid traveler, explorer, and loves being on the water, enjoying paddle boarding, kayaking, cottage life and driving her 1974 Volkswagen bus.

Johnathan Chief Marketing Officer

Jonathan Chamblee

Jonathan was born and raised in eastern North Carolina. Following high school, he served for eight years with the Advanced Field Artillery Tactical Data Systems unit of the United States Army with distinction, before studying Business Management (with a concentration in Pre-Law) at North Carolina Wesleyan College. After college, Jonathan accepted a business development position at North State Consulting in Morrisville, North Carolina. Quickly surpassing his peers, Jonathan was promoted three times within his first year on the job and received many awards and recognitions for his performance, management, and leadership. At NSC, he worked with enterprise level technology companies developing go-to-market and growth strategies. In December 2020, Jonathan accepted a position as Vice President of Business Development at GAD.AI, where he advises clients on product development, launch strategy, raising capital, and scaling their business. In his free time, Jonathan enjoys playing golf, coaching youth soccer, and traveling with his two children.

Alex is the Chief Executive Officer of GAD.AI, handheld.dev, and an information technology enthusiast. Alex started to develop software at the age of seven and created his first operating system using a linux-based kernel called cosmos at the age of ten. In 2007, he became one of the first 186,000 developers to hold an official Google certificate, and has
continued to develop and grow his skills over the years. In his spare time, Alex enjoys reading books and philosophical stories, as well as spending time with his wife, Anyelith, who has been by his side and supported him through his endeavors. The couple is expecting a child and is excited to be new parents. Alex also enjoys golf, and although he is not a pro, is willing to take up any challenge and see it through to the end.

Born and raised in Monroe, Louisiana, Harvey majored in construction at Northeast Louisiana University (now the University of Louisiana at Monroe). In 1978, Harvey married his wife Brenda and moved to Corpus Christi to manage a construction company. Since 1980, he has worked across Texas and Louisiana as an independent petroleum landman, during which time he became very active in all aspects of drilling and exploration in the oil and gas industry, including lease purchases, raising investment capital, and drilling and completion of prospects. He is an avid hunter and fisherman and enjoys tennis and rattle snake wrangling. Now semi-retired, Harvey continues to stay involved in oil and gas exploration.
